Creative Writing As Catharsis

The act of writing can be a cathartic release and a vehicle for greater understanding. As Paulo Coelho said, “Tears are words that need to be written.” In this workshop, we will read and write together, in order to connect with ourselves and process what’s going on in our inner worlds through reflective, embodied, literary expression—developing an accessible tool you can take with you to use at any time. In supportive community, we’ll release what’s deep inside by bringing it out onto the page.

Please bring a paper and pen.
